LACIVIDINA

The fusion of quality, technical expertise and exceptional workmanship of Italian designer culture.

LACIVIDINA

LaCividina is a premium furniture designer and manufacturer founded in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in the North East of Italy. It is now a leading producer of armchairs and sofas, working both as a contractor and for private customers. A quintessentially Italian approach is tangible in every design and flawlessly encapsulated in the products thanks to the carefully selected materials and finishes, as well as the tailored service for customers. This original Italian brand conceives and makes collections of designer armchairs and sofas that epitomize the most authentic, quintessential qualities associated with the “Made in Italy” label.

If we had to tell the story using a timeline, it would start in 1976, when Carlo Bulfoni – who already had more than 20 years of experience in the world of upholstered furniture – decided to open a workshop in Martignacco (in the province of Udine) and call it LaCividina.

Every collection of sofas and armchairs stems from constant dialogue with designers all over the world. This has helped to make this brand a partner in significant interior living projects in a variety of public and private settings. Unadulterated aesthetics, high-quality materials, perfect workmanship and exceptional organization: LaCividina fuses comfort and appealing designs, while keeping Italian manual culture alive.

Authentic products and premium quality making the Italian design culture proud

LaCividina has been manufacturing products with ingenuity and originality for almost half a century. The invaluable properties of Italian manual culture live on in its workmanship. Outstanding organization and management ensure that its attention to detail is combined with the ability to compete on a global scale.

This creative company has become the first manufacturer of padded furniture in Italy to be awarded a “Certificate of Italian origin for furniture”. It is a form of official recognition for the quality of goods that are “Made in Italy” and it shows that the production processes take place in Italy. The certification procedure was carried out in October 2018 by Catas and Cosmob, which are the top wood and furniture testing and certification laboratories in Italy.

The authentic, quintessential properties associated with the “Made in Italy” label have been at the heart of every project for more than 40 years.

This modern furniture designer is proud to play a part in championing the Italian manufacturing culture, which flawlessly fuses quality, technical expertise and exceptional workmanship.
