Table lamp made of a tubular structure in brass with diffuser shade in sand acrylic resin and power cord covered in black fabric. Embedded LED lighting sources and push dimmer on the base. Available in chrome, 24K gold and matte black; bases in Marquina black, Carrara white and Verde Alpi marble respectively.

QUADRO 154 by LUMEN CENTER

Uncover the excellence of lighting design with QUADRO 154 by Lumen Center. Designed in 1929 by Jacques Adnet, Quadro reflects the elegance, the minimalism and the refined and subdued style of rationalists from the 1930s. Quadro was created in the 1970s on the behest of then artistic director Gilles Derain.

ABOUT DESIGNER

Jacques Adnet

Jacques Adnet (1900-1984) architect and designer, leading exponent of the French Modernist movement. After studying at the Auxerre School of Design and at L’Ecole des Arts Decoratifs, Adnet founded the JJ Adnet company together with his twin brother Jean. From 1928 to 1960 he was director of the Compagnie des Arts Français. Among the designers on his team were prominent figures such as François Jourdain, Charlotte Perriand and Georges Jouve. During the 50s, he devoted himself to the design of furniture and received numerous commissions including the decoration of the private apartments of the French president at the Elysée and the meeting room of the Paris headquarters of UNESCO. From 1959 to 1970 he directed the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
