Marsalis is a two-tone sofa bed with a front opening that can be easily converted using the Lampolet mechanism. It is available in linear 2 or 3-seater versions, as well as an armchair option. The sofa effortlessly transforms into a comfortable single, large single, French double, or standard bed, complete with a 200 cm mattress and slatted base. Converting the sofa into a bed is a quick and straightforward process: simply remove the seat cushions and pull the seats towards you to reveal the sleeping surface.
Designed by Christophe Pillet for Milano Bedding, Marsalis seamlessly combines maximum functionality with a minimalist and modern aesthetic. This is exemplified by its slim and visually light base, space-saving frame with slim armrests, and 16 cm high metal feet that hold generously cushioned seats made from high-resilience polyurethane foam. The seats, which are nearly 110 cm deep, allow for a relaxed posture and can be enhanced with optional back and side roll cushions for added comfort.
Marsalis offers extensive customisation options in trendy colours, providing numerous aesthetic solutions that cater to the demands of contemporary living spaces. The combination of leather and fabric enables the creation of elegant tone-on-tone sofa beds or unique compositions featuring accent colors. Seat made with webbing. Mattress standard (sofa bed only): Expanded polyurethane foam 35 Kg/m3 CMHR covered on both sides with 100% PL fabric quilted with 100% polyester fiber 200 g/m2 and nonwoven. Frame: Solid fir, poplar multilayer, hardboard. Legs: black nickel Padding: “soft” seat: expanded polyurethane foam CMHR 35 Kg/m3 + Olmosoff 35 Kg/m3 covered with needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber 200 g/m2 and 2,5 mm. quilted interliner. Back: expanded polyurethane foam 25 Kg/m3 and needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber 300 g/m2 and 2,5 mm. quilted interliner. Armrests, headboard and front panel: expanded polyurethane foam 40 kg/m3 , covered with interliner combined with 100 g/m2 PL fibre. Additional back cushions and bolster pillows (optional): 30% rollofill (polyester fiber), 70% feather + down and interliner.
