Freddie is a single armchair bed with metal legs. It turns into a comfortable single bed with high-density foam mattress 200 cm long. Upholstered in fabric, leather or faux leather, is available in hundreds of colours. The metal base is 16 cm high and is finished in chrome or black nickel.
Combining aesthetic and function, this modern convertible chair is easy to open. The transition to bed is effortless, you simply have to remove the seat and back cushions, pull out the frame and unfold the slatted base. The Lampolet metal action mechanism guarantees effortless openings and closings. The beechwood slats accommodate a CMHR polyurethane foam mattress, which ensures great comfort and proper support.
Designed by Simone Micheli, Freddie nods to 1960s soft and rounded shapes. The addition of metal sled legs gives the armchair a contemporary twist, while defining a timeless design able to fit in with many styles.
Mechanism (sofa bed): high-strength cold drawn steel tube, painted with epoxy powder, two folds, front opening in two movements by extraction of the seat. Orthopedic bed with beech wood slats. Seat made with webbing. Mattress standard (sofa bed only): Expanded polyurethane foam 35 Kg/m3 CMHR covered on both sides with 100% PL fabric quilted with 100% polyester fiber 200 g/m2 and nonwoven. Frame: Solid fir, hardboard. Legs: metal epoxy baked painted. Padding: Seat: Expanded polyurethane foam 35 Kg/m3 , covered with PL fibre 200 g/m2 and 2,5 mm. quilted interliner. Back: Expanded polyurethane foam 18 kg/m3 covered with PL fibre 300 g/m2 and 2,5 mm. quilted interliner. Frame: expanded polyurethane foam 30 and 40 kg/m3 covered with interliner combined with 200 g/m2 PL fibre. Kidney cushions (optional): 30% rollofill (polyester fiber), 70% feather + down and interliner. Legs: black nickel
