Marsalis 3 seater sofa bed by Christophe Pillet MILANO BEDDING
Marsalis is a design 2/3 seater sofa bed with slatted base and mattress (French double or standard double), also available as an armchair that converts into a single bed. Thanks to the patented Lampolet mechanism, opening the sleeping surface is really simple: just remove the seat cushions and pull the seats towards you to reveal a 200 cm long resting surface, ready to use and easy to fold back.
Designed by Christophe Pillet for Milano Bedding, Marsalis is characterised by the minimalist design of its space-saving structure, which is further reduced to make the model stylistically light, even in the convertible version. Characterised by slimr armrests and high metal feet, the austere appearance of the shell contrasts with a comfortable and cosy seat, upholstered in polyurethane foam and made informal by a depth of almost 110 cm. Additional back cushions and side roll cushions are available as options for those who prefer a more composed and formal posture.
Highly customisable, Marsalis is available in fabric, leather or faux leather in any colour from the Sample Page. When fully finished, the sofa can also be placed in the centre of a room, in the middle of a living room or in an open space used as a sleeping area.
Mechanism (sofa bed): high-strength cold drawn steel tube, painted with epoxy powder, two folds, front opening in two movements by extraction of the seat. Orthopedic bed with beech wood slats. Seat made with webbing. Mattress standard (sofa bed only): Expanded polyurethane foam 35 Kg/m3 CMHR covered on both sides with 100% PL fabric quilted with 100% polyester fiber 200 g/m2 and nonwoven. Frame: Solid fir, poplar multilayer, hardboard. Legs: black nickel Padding: “soft” seat: expanded polyurethane foam CMHR 35 Kg/m3 + Olmosoff 35 Kg/m3 covered with needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber 200 g/m2 and 2,5 mm. quilted interliner. Back: expanded polyurethane foam 25 Kg/m3 and needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber 300 g/m2 and 2,5 mm. quilted interliner. Armrests, headboard and front panel: expanded polyurethane foam 40 kg/m3 , covered with interliner combined with 100 g/m2 PL fibre. Additional back cushions and bolster pillows (optional): 30% rollofill (polyester fiber), 70% feather + down and interliner.
