ABOUT DESIGNER
Amedeo G. Cavalchini
Architect, he lives and works in Milan. His activity stems from a long collaboration with Paolo Rizzatto. In 1998 he won the Tiziana Mascheroni prize at the Young and Design competition. In 2000 he opened his own Architecture and Design studio and carried out several interior renovations with a particular propensity for set-up and lighting design in Italy and abroad. Of particular note is the design and construction of the entrance to the Teatro della Luna in Assago and the entire masterplan around the Forum in Assago (Milan) for the Cabassi Group. Specialized in exhibition design and museography, he held the role of exhibition design manager for Luceplan for many years, for which he also designed several products. Winner of the Honorable Mention at the XXIII edition of the Compasso dโOro 2014 in the Exhibition Design category with the installation โGino Sarfatti, the design of lightโ at the Triennale di Milano. He teaches lighting design at NABA and product design at IED in Milan.
