Jean Michel Wilmotte
In 1975 Jean-Michel Wilmotte founded his architectural firm Wilmotte & Associates in Paris with activities ranging from architectural design to urban planning, from product design to museum design. Today, Wilmotte & Associates is structured around two main businesses: the architectural firm Wilmotte & Associates and the design firm Wilmotte & Industries, which work simultaneously on hundreds of projects. Known for his eclectic approach and focus on refinement of detail through the use of the highest quality materials, Jean-Michel Wilmotte designs shops, luxury hotels, homes, and public facilities – just to name a few examples. Wilmotte & Associates operates in over twenty countries with a total staff of 201 people. In 2005, he also created the Wilmotte Foundation in order to achieve the highest standards of design and transmit the excellence of these values to a new generation of architects.
